Management Carlos Jorquera Founder and Chief Technical Officer. Leading up to the creation of Boulder Imaging, company founder Carlos Jorquera applied his background in physics and electrical engineering (with an emphasis in computer science) from MIT to develop scientific imaging systems for spacecraft and ground-based telescopes at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, California. It was at JPL that Mr. Jorquera began to realize the huge untapped opportunities that existed in the new high performance imaging field. In 1995 Mr. Jorquera founded CJ Computational Systems LLC based out of Boulder, Colorado with the initial goal of providing consulting services in the field of high-performance imaging systems. In 2000 the company was incorporated and renamed Boulder Imaging, Inc. Since then, Boulder Imaging has grown to be a recognized innovation leader by delivering state-of-the-art imaging systems to various industry segments across a wide range of applications. Michael Willis President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Willis joined the company in August, 2009.
